Artist in society
Many are hooked into their destiny of trying to bring context to the world -- and so they earn the endless days and barter the early graves. Art creates the standards for perception and cognition for a society. Without great Art, there are no great ideas and a lesser community. The entertainment business usually does well in times of economic crises as people flee their everyday covenants in search of release and fantasy. I wish there were more inherent value placed on the non-commodity Artist by the business community. If you don't have immediate perceived value -- you are not considered, or accepted -- as a necessary part of the economic sanctity of the populace.
Art and Film
“All film is art,and art is relative, so is entertainment.” I agree, to say that a great film is art but a bad film is not is illogical. Its still a piece of art, its just a poor one. For example, if I painted a picture it would be a piece of art, just a crappy piece; its still art. The same can and should be said of film. A bad film is still art, its just a bad piece of art. Generally, A film require all those skills that is necessary in creating a simple work of art. Making a film is also called creativity and art is creative too.
I know what art is
If somebody ask me what art is, i would say I know it. For me, art a way to free oneself from the boundings of the world. Art is the way you express yourself without anywords. You use art to make yourself look different than other people, you can creat your own personality. Art has color that makes your life fresh, beautiful, and joyous. Art can also help someone to show their pain. Even famous and great artist do the same thing, they show their feeling and others feelings in their art work.
Art education in school
Art is essential to learning-not just an educational frill. Learning about the visual arts gives students a window onto the rich and interesting world around them, teaching them about their own history and culture, as well as those of other people. It cultivates self-expression, imagination and creativity as well as critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Students who learn about art develop their capacities to weigh meanings and make evaluations and judgments. Understanding and making art can teach students how to work cooperatively in groups and how to work hard to achieve a goal.
The development of all of these skills and attributed not only makes students better learners but it also helps students feel good about themselves-it builds self-esteem. And in a world in which ideas and information are often delivered visually, children need to learn how to analyze and judge the meaning of images and how to use them to communicate their own ideas.
Today's educators and business leaders consider these skills and attributes vital to individual achievement and America's progress. Yet the fact is that most schools have experienced budget cuts in art programs during the last 10 years and, as a result, some schools offer little or no instruction in art. The students at these schools are missing an opportunity to expand skills so necessary to succeeding in a competitive economic environment in our culturally diverse, visually oriented world.
Education in the arts and through the arts is essential, and a complete approach to learning includes comprehensive visual arts education for grades K-12.
On the Graffiti Beat- Is it art or not?
It is really hard to decide if the Graffiti beat is art or not. The main thing about art is, it not created to harm anybody. Graffiti can not be an art if it damages public property or the property thats own by somebody. It makes people upset, and that is not what art does. On the other hand, Graffiti has the amazing creativity in it. Graffiti art are nothing but a regular person's thought, and that is how some people express it. Basically, I think Graffiti can be a very good art form, if it created in a right way at right places.
Public art
I have seen thousands of public art in my life, but i started paying attention on them after i got in to my art class. After that i understood it better, what does all those piece of art trying to represent.
When I visited to high museum, I saw lot of public art outside the museum. The art that drew my attention was "The Shades". The tragic story behind that piece of art makes it more attention taking .It also represent the great work of Auguste Rodin.
Indian culture is a true culture because.....
The term culture refers to a state of intellectual development or manners. The social and political forces that influence the growth of a human being is defined as culture.
Indian culture is rich and diverse and as a result unique in its very own way. Our manners, way of communicating with one another, etc are one of the important components of our culture. Even though we have accepted modern means of living, improved our lifestyle, our values and beliefs still remain unchanged. A person can change his way of clothing, way of eating and living but the rich values in a person always remains unchanged because they are deeply rooted within our hearts, mind, body and soul which we receive from our culture.
Indian culture treats guests as god and serves them and takes care of them as if they are a part and parcel of the family itself. Even though we don’t have anything to eat, the guests are never left hungry and are always looked after by the members of the family. Elders and the respect for elders is a major component in Indian culture. Elders are the driving force for any family and hence the love and respect for elders comes from within and is not artificial. An individual takes blessings from his elders by touching their feet. Elders drill and pass on the Indian culture within us as we grow.
“Respect one another” is another lesson that is taught from the books of Indian culture. All people are alike and respecting one another is ones duty. In foreign countries the relation between the boss and the employee is like a master and slave and is purely monetary whereas in Indian culture the relation between the boss and the employee is more like homely relations unlike foreign countries.
Helpful nature is another striking feature in our Indian culture. Right from our early days of childhood we are taught to help one another in need of help and distress. If not monetary then at least in kind or non-monetary ways. Indian culture tells us to multiply and distribute joy and happiness and share sadness and pain. It tells us that by all this we can develop co-operation and better living amongst ourselves and subsequently make this world a better place to live in.
Even though India is a country of various religions and caste our culture tells us just one thing 'phir bhi dil hai Hindustani '.
I love this piece of archiecture
TajMahal- A greatest piece of architecture:
Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world, and some Western historians have noted that its architectural beauty has never been surpassed. The Taj is the most beautiful monument built by the Mughals, the Muslim rulers of India. Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at dawn and sunset. The Taj seems to glow in the light of the full moon. On a foggy morning, the visitors experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from across the Jamuna river.
Taj Mahal was built by a Muslim, Emperor Shah Jahan (died 1666 C.E.) in the memory of his dear wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal at Agra, India. It is an "elegy in marble" or some say an expression of a "dream." Taj Mahal (meaning Crown Palace) is a Mausoleum that houses the grave of queen Mumtaz Mahal at the lower chamber. The grave of Shah Jahan was added to it later. The queen’s real name was Arjumand Banu. In the tradition of the Mughals, important ladies of the royal family were given another name at their marriage or at some other significant event in their lives, and that new name was commonly used by the public. Shah Jahan's real name was Shahab-ud-din, and he was known as Prince Khurram before ascending to the throne in 1628.
Taj Mahal was constructed over a period of twenty-two years, employing twenty thousand workers. It was completed in 1648 C.E. at a cost of 32 Million Rupees. The construction documents show that its master architect was Ustad ‘Isa, the renowned Islamic architect of his time. The documents contain names of those employed and the inventory of construction materials and their origin. Expert craftsmen from Delhi, Qannauj, Lahore, and Multan were employed. In addition, many renowned Muslim craftsmen from Baghdad, Shiraz and Bukhara worked on many specialized tasks.
The Taj stands on a raised, square platform (186 x 186 feet) with its four corners truncated, forming an unequal octagon. The architectural design uses the interlocking arabesque concept, in which each element stands on its own and perfectly integrates with the main structure. It uses the principles of self-replicating geometry and a symmetry of architectural elements.
Its central dome is fifty-eight feet in diameter and rises to a height of 213 feet. It is flanked by four subsidiary domed chambers. The four graceful, slender minarets are 162.5 feet each. The entire mausoleum (inside as well as outside) is decorated with inlaid design of flowers and calligraphy using precious gems such as agate and jasper. The main archways, chiseled with passages from the Holy Qur’an and the bold scroll work of flowery pattern, give a captivating charm to its beauty. The central domed chamber and four adjoining chambers include many walls and panels of Islamic decoration.
The mausoleum is a part of a vast complex comprising of a main gateway, an elaborate garden, a mosque (to the left), a guest house (to the right), and several other palatial buildings. The Taj is at the farthest end of this complex, with the river Jamuna behind it. The large garden contains four reflecting pools dividing it at the center. Each of these four sections is further subdivided into four sections and then each into yet another four sections. Like the Taj, the garden elements serve like Arabesque, standing on their own and also constituting. My favorite artist
Pablo Picasso:- He was devoted primarily to his early works, which include strikingly realistic renderings of casts of ancient sculpture. I am a big fan of Picasso's art work. His painting have everything called human struggle, nature, behavior, and conditoin. Although, majority of paintings represent human struggle and condition. We can feel what his paintings try to tell us. His patintings from blue period, rose period, beginning of cubism, and analytical cubism has fantastic work of art. Those paintings make you stare at it for hours. Here are the few picasso's paintings:
Poetry Slam
My love for you is like a rose One that's dead and never grows |
You are my sun, my moon, my star I wish to see you... from afar |
You turn me on like Britney Spears
With even less between the ears
Kind, intelligent, loving and hot
This describes everything you're not

Indian dance, culture, food, and many other things including hospitality is very unique and marvellous to describe it in few words.
my right brain and my left brain
I am not specifically right brain or left brain person. I use my both brain, but i do not use it equally.
I can use my right brain whenever I need it. I am good at math and science and other subject in which i have to use my logic. Although, I use my left brain way better than right. I am an imaginary person. I am a day dreamer. I like to paint and i like things colorful. I try to understand things creatively, which helps me a lot.
